Born
of
Chinese/Indonesian/Straits Chinese parentage, Terry
has gone the full mass communication circle having worked
as a broadcaster, copywriter, public relations man, writer,
and is now firmly entrenched as one of the best-known Media
and Development Chefs in London.
With a culinary bent from 40 years of cooking, eating, restaurant-running,
cookbook writing and cookery teaching he offers a wealth of
experience in all these fields as a consultant.
Equally
at home with Chinese, Singaporean (Nonya) and Indonesian food
as he is with all the other Asian cuisines; his decades of
stirring the wok and globe-trotting has earned him the kudos
of Mr Southeast Asian Cuisine in Europe.
Once a restaurateur, now steeped in development work for food
producers, as consultant editor to Wine & Dine, Asia Pacifics
most prestigious magazine, he also finds time to teach at
colleges and other instutions of gastronomy.
